Being a short Navaratri, Saraswathi Puja fell on the 8th day this year!
Morning was leisure with a small puja and nice lunch at Navneetha's place

Evening we had the chance of listening the Sahasranama chanting at Ranga's Sabai friend Karthik's place. With a huge gathering of 70+, the atmosphere was divine with Jayaraman Mama chanting both Vishnu Sahasranamam and Lalitha Sahasranamam. We were also offered a very nice dinner. It was a chance to meet the Sabai family after a long gap!
Sudha's golu was grand and lovely.
We left Karthik's place to go to my sister Jayashree's place and all of us went for a Garba/Dandiya programme conducted by the Gujarati Social and Cultural Association of Valasravakkam. With a small gathering of local Gujjus this place had a beautifully decorated Amba with the ladies and men singing and dancing around Her with reverence!
